New Technologies Used
Guided implant surgery was planned using CBCT data combined with iTero intraoral scans to fabricate stackable surgical guides. Immediate provisionalisation was achieved with upper and lower temporary implant-supported bridges.
Following osseointegration, definitive restorations were planned using Tupel photogrammetry scanning for accurate implant position capture. Final prostheses consisted of an upper porcelain and a lower acrylic 12-unit implant-supported bridge.

Patient presenting with failing dentition , including a failing implant and multiple teeth with a poor long-term prognosis.
Clinical Challenge
Management of present implant infection, removal of compromised implant and teeth, and planning a full-arch, implant-supported rehabilitation while ensuring a stable biological foundation.
Treatment Provided
Removal of one infected implant in area of UR3 and 14 non-restorable teeth.
Establishment of a healthy foundation prior to reconstruction
Placement of ten Osstem implants
Fabrication and delivery of implant-supported porcelain bridges
