Trauma Rehabilitation with Anterior Upper Dental Implants Following Traumatic Teeth Loss
Project type
Anterior Upper Dental Implants-trauma rehabilitation
Date
2019/2020
Location
London,UK
A 21-year-old patient presented after a traumatic accident resulting in the loss of both upper central incisors. Due to the extent of structural damage and the patient’s age and aesthetic expectations, implant-based rehabilitation was chosen as the definitive solution.
Two implants were placed in the anterior maxilla with precise three-dimensional positioning to support long-term bone stability and optimal aesthetic outcomes. Particular attention was given to soft-tissue management and wound closure to preserve gingival architecture in the aesthetic zone, as demonstrated by stable peri-implant tissues during healing.
A provisional restoration was provided during osseointegration to maintain appearance, phonetics, and patient confidence while allowing undisturbed healing. Radiographic evaluation confirmed correct implant angulation and depth, forming a solid foundation for the final restorations.
This case highlights a trauma-driven, biologically respectful approach to anterior implant dentistry in a young patient, with emphasis on tissue preservation, accuracy, and long-term predictability.
